As a passionate middle school teacher, I was frustrated by a lack of time to develop my craft, research innovative teaching techniques, and experiment with new methods. After earning a Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum Design, I turned my attention to training new teachers and continuing to work in a wide variety of public school classrooms. I’m able to see many different teaching practices used with many different demographics.
My observations, research, and hands-on experiences with students have given me insight into best practices and how struggling professionals can transform their teaching.
I love finding ways to help and inspire teachers and students, creating a new generation of young readers, writers, and life-long learners.
